I can't believe it's May 2022. So much has happened this year. The loss of dear friends and family. We move forward and keep going. Working toward a good life filled with the love of Food!
May is the month my husband was born. I have made him so many different birthday cakes and meals. My favorite cake was the ice cream cake.
When my children were little, they made paper corsages in school. I would wear it proudly.
These cinnamon rolls are a quick way to save lots of time. My children would make these for me on these special days.
Ingredients:
1 can of ready to use Pillsbury biscuits, any size
1/2 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Raisins (1/2 cup) or chocolate chips
1/2 cup melted butter
Directions:
Preheat oven according to package instructions.
On large cookie sheet, spray or grease with butter.
Open package and separate biscuits. Cut each one in half.
On each half, brush with melted butter. Top with 1/2 tsp of cinnamon/sugar mixture. Top with a few raisins or chocolate chips.
Roll up and place on prepared cookie sheet. Spread them out, they will puff up.
My daughter was and is a very creative girl. She and her brother would whip up a breakfast for me that was delicious. They would make cinnamon rolls or eggs and toast. Pancakes or French toast. They are both great cooks and amaze me all the time.
My children both love to cook. They're always teaching me new techniques and methods of cooking. I am very proud of them.
